LACEA Brain
LACEA BRAIN (Behavioral Insights Network) aims to unite Latin American and Caribbean economists to promote rigorous research in behavioral and experimental economics. The network focuses on generating knowledge about using behavioral insights tools to enhance public policies and policymaking in the region. Its goal is to showcase state-of-the-art research techniques to deepen the understanding of behavioral and experimental economics, particularly in addressing the most pressing issues facing Latin America and the Caribbean.
LACEA BRAIN also strives to bridge the gap between the policy world and academia, fostering a two-way exchange of insights while consolidating data and experiences from interventions across the region. The network hosts annual meetings to present cutting-edge research and shares its findings and experiences through its website and other dissemination channels, connecting policymakers with a diverse array of researchers.
